Based in the Netherlands, Canadian soprano Erin Selin will debut this season as Gilda in Verdi’s Rigoletto with Opera Spanga, where she recently sang Sophie in Der Rosenkavalier with great success, being complimented for her “deliciously seductive lyricism” (Theaterkrant). She is based in the Netherlands, where recent accomplishments include progressing to the finals of the Grachtenfestival competition, competing in the Sibelius Singing Competition in Finland, and understudying the role of Barbie in the Reisopera’s production of To Die For.
